TEA Data Collection Schedule

State Performance Plan Indicator 6 reports the percent of children aged 3 through 5 with IEPs attending a:

A. Regular early childhood program and receiving the majority of special
education and related services in the regular early childhood program; and
B. Separate special education class, separate school or residential facility.

State Performance Plan Indicator 7 reports the percent of preschool children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) who demonstrate improved: 

  • Positive social-emotional skills (including social relationships); 
  •  Acquisition and use of knowledge and skills (including early language/communication and early literacy); and 
  • Use of appropriate behaviors to meet their needs.

State Performance Plan Indicator 12Early Childhood Transition MOU

State Performance Plan (SPP) Indicator 12 measures the percentage of students referred by Part C/Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) prior to age 3 who are found eligible for Part B/District Special Education Services and who have an IEP (Individualized Education Program) developed and implemented by their third birthday.
