English Language Arts & Reading
The English Language Arts and Reading Support Service provides professional development and expert assistance to PK-12 teachers in the ESC Region 12 area. This service supports ELA/R teachers in enhancing their skills and content knowledge in the areas of reading, writing, oral and written conventions, listening and speaking, and research.
Our blended learning experiences are designed to consist of face-to-face learning as well as virtual learning experiences. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on an ongoing basis with the session facilitator and your fellow participants, interact with new ideas and strategies on a more flexible time table, and be supported in the application of your learning to your teaching in the '18-19 school year.
Our traditional sessions will be the familiar, six-hour sessions, that will take place over the course of one day, from 9am to 4pm.
