A-F Accountability Resources

The 85th Legislature passed HB 22, changing the Texas school accountability system so that every campus and district receives ratings from A-F through a Domain system. The law requires schools and districts to be issued grades based on three different areas of performance or “domains,” and those three grades must be combined into a single overall rating.

The 2018 accountability ratings will be issued for districts for the first time publicly on August 14, 2018.

Campuses will only receive a "Met Standard" or "Improvement Required" rating this year based upon Domain performances. They will then receive A-F ratings in August 2019. Single campus districts will be rated in the same manner as campuses this year.  Districts will receive a letter grade.
