The Deaf and Hard of Hearing program works enhance the outcomes for students identified as deaf or hard of hearing.
ESC Region 12's Deaf and Hard of Hearing team supports teachers, assistants, interpreters, and administrators from the four Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf (RDSPD) and individual districts in order to improve education for students who have been identified as deaf or hard of hearing.

Access to the Nontraditional Deaf Education Certification program, a collaboration between Texas Tech University and the ESCs, designed to increase the number of qualified, certified teachers serving students who are deaf and hard of hearing in Texas
