Texas Education Exchange

A group of people sit in a PEIMs training

The Texas Education Exchange is a comprehensive dashboard designed to serve as a one-stop solution for school districts.

The Texas Education Exchange offers valuable tools for PEIMS Coordinators, IT staff, district and campus administrators, as well as teachers. Although it is still new, the goal is to create a very robust platform that unifies data into simple, user-friendly dashboards, enabling district staff to better support their students and district goals.

How The Exchange Benefits Districts

  • For PEIMS Coordinators: The Exchange provides an efficient way to monitor data with nightly API uploads, ensuring Ed-Fi compliance—aligned with TEA’s direction. This allows PEIMS staff to review Level 2 errors before submitting data to TSDS, eliminating delays associated with TSDS scheduling.
  • For Superintendents and Administrators: The Leadership Analytics application gives real-time insights into key metrics such as average daily attendance, enrollment, assessment results, chronic absenteeism, student discipline, and course failure rates, all updated daily.
  • For Teachers: The Rally application enables them to track their classes, students, and grade levels. It provides a holistic view of student performance, including attendance, behavior, and overall well-being, whether at the class level or for individual students.

The Exchange supports integration with several assessment platforms, including Renaissance, i-Ready, STAAR EOC, 3-8, Interim, MAP NWEA, Amplify, and CLI Engage.
