Coordinated School Health Services
Coordinated School Health Services are designed for public school health care providers, PK-12 health & physical educators, school nurses/healthcare providers and other school staff designated to ensure the health and wellness of district children.
Members receive up-to-date reliable health care information on the latest health priority areas.
Benefits include:
- Training on school health services needs of students. Participants may include school nurses, health office staff, coaches, teachers, and other school staff designated to ensure the health and wellness of district children
- Accurate and timely notification of health-related requirements and legislation
- Research-based instruction and technical assistance in healthy living to improve the health and fitness of youth and staff
- Training on state-mandated health screenings to identify children with vision, hearing, and spinal disorders
- School nurse orientation training for nurses new to school nursing or those who work in the health clinic
- CPR/AED for school nurses (BLS) and school staff
