The Texas Mentorship Training exists to ensure that every beginning teacher in the state receives the guidance and support needed to thrive, leading to increased teacher effectiveness, higher retention, and a lasting impact on student success.
Texas Mentorship Training offers two pathways of research-based training for building and sustaining a mentorship program designed to support early career teachers.
Design Team
District and Campus Leaders pathway equips district and campus leaders with the knowledge of policy and best practices in mentoring to design and implement high-quality mentorship programs.
Mentor Training
Mentoring Educators pathway equips educators who directly mentor teacher candidates and early-career teachers (less than two years of experience) with knowledge and skills to support effective classroom practices.
