Education Service Center Region 12 hosted the 2025 An Evening of Art, a showcase honoring student artists and their teachers, on Tuesday, April 22. The event recognized 96 students and 45 art teachers from 26 districts around Region 12.
“ESC Region 12 hosts the art gala to spotlight the incredible artistic talent found in our area schools and emphasize the vital role fine arts education plays in a well-rounded academic experience,” said Dr. Kenny Berry, Executive Director of ESC Region 12. “The Gala is a celebration of student creativity and a reminder of how the arts inspire innovation, critical thinking, and expression—skills that serve students well beyond the classroom.”
To highlight fine arts and student work, ESC Region 12 displays student artwork throughout the halls of the Service Center. Student artists who received recognition during the art gala submitted original artwork that will be displayed at the Service Center for the next three years. Artwork includes pieces in various mediums, such as acrylic, charcoal, ink, marker, oil pastel, watercolor, and more.
