WACO, TX – Dr. Jerry Maze, Executive Director of Education Service Center Region 12, received a proclamation during Commissioners Court on Oct. 4, 2022, to congratulate him on receiving the Peter C. Young Service Award by the Association of Educational Service Agencies (AESA). 

Maze was surprised with the award this past summer at the AESA Summer Leadership Conference, which recognizes an individual that has made outstanding contributions to the educational service agencies, or for their contribution to the AESA. 

He has served on both AESA’s Executive Council and on the Board of Directors of AESA’s Foundation. He is also a longtime contributor to the AESA. 

The meeting took place at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Courtroom, First Floor, West Wing, McLennan County Courthouse, 501 Washington Ave, Waco, TX.
