Child Nutrition Summer Conference
This two day conference, available both in-person and online through Zoom, provides professional development for food service personnel in all areas of compliance for the National School Breakfast Program (NSBP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
This year, we will host an in-person Summer Conference at ESC Region 12 in Waco, as well as offering several classes via Zoom. Our in-person workshop will feature amazing teachers sharing their knowledge of Food Production Records, Kitchen Math, Meal Patterns, Menu Planning, Food Safety, Smart Snacks, Team Building, Leadership Development, and Culinary class options. Each class will be offered according to the schedule below over the course of our two-day conference and classes will last 3 hours each. Attendance is on a first come, first served basis and once a class is full the course will be closed. Participants have at least 2 opportunities to attend the class of their choice with some classes offering 4 opportunities.
In-Person Workshop
Our in-person workshop costs $25 per day and lunch is included on both days. Attendees will need to register for each day of Summer Workshop:

Virtual Workshop
Because we know Summer schedules are crazy, we will also offer a Zoom class during each of our 4 class times to allow those unable to attend to gain professional development hours. We will offer the following virtual classes:

You must register for each individual class in order to attend and to receive the corresponding hours of professional development credit. If you will be watching as a group you will just need to place each person's name in the chat during the Zoom. Each individual will need to be registered for the course in order to receive credit even if watching in a group. Please make sure your email address in ESC Works is current as this is where the Zoom link for the course will be sent, along with all course materials. You will also be able to access class materials the week of Conference at the tab below.
