The Title II, Part D Technology Co-op
provides members with technology services including
staff development, program administration, and technical
assistance in accordance with the NCLB Enhancing Education
Through Technology Program. Through this program, districts
receive formula grant funds based on their proportionate
share of funding under Part A of Title I. For districts
who join this co-op, ESC Region 12 will:
- Serve as fiscal agent for co-op districts for Title
II, Part D, Subpart 1 funds
- Prepare the Application for Federal Funds, amendments,
and evaluation
- Handle application/amendment negotiations with
the Texas Education Agency (TEA)
- Conduct Technology
Assessments and/or surveys
- Provide technology planning assistance
- Provide training sessions to satisfy NCLB Title
II, Part D requirements
- Technical assistance for Performance-Based Monitoring
related to Title II, Part D
