ESC Region 12 provides information and resources to
instructional technology coordinators and contacts from
public, private, and charter schools at Technology Coordinators
& Contacts Meetings held 4 times a year over video conferencing
as well as through the Techcon Mailing List.
Technology Coordinator & Contacts Meetings
for 2007-2008
Instructional Technology Contacts meetings offered
free of charge are designed
to provide District/Campus representatives responsible
for coordinating/managing instructional technology
activities an opportunity to 1) remain up-to-date on
regional, state, and national technology issues, events,
funding opportunities and more 2) review new technologies,
and 3) network with other technology representatives.
Meeting Dates:
Meetings for 2007-2008 will be held from 9:30 a.m. to
12:00 p.m. on the following dates. Please notify Shane Howard at least three days in advance if you would like to connect to the meeting via videoconference from your district/site. |

The U.S. Department of Education is currently accepting nominations for its American Stars of Teaching awards, which recognize educators who are improving student achievement—using innovative instructional strategies—and making a difference in the lives of their students. Anyone can nominate an American Star. One teacher will be recognized from each state and the District of Columbia. The deadline for nominations is March 31, 2008. Click here for more information.
