$5,500 - TPCP Program fee for single certification (includes textbooks)

Payment timeline:

• $1,500 due at orientation prior to beginning pre-service training
• $2,000 due during pre-service (payment plan will be provided)
• $2,000 due during the internship year (payment plan will be provided)

 

Possible Additional Program Fees:

• $500 - Add on Certification (Special Education, Bilingual, or ESL)
• $500 - Employment outside Region 12 during the internship year

 

Fees are subject to change without notice

Fees required by the State Board for Educator Certification and paid to outside agencies

$82 - Texas Examination of Educator Standards (TExES) - Usually 2 required during pre-service

$47 - Fingerprint Fee - required before receiving Probationary Certificate

$52 - Probationary Certificate - required for internship year

$77 - Standard Certificate - at completion of program

$82 - Texas Oral Proficiency Test (TOPT) Required for Spanish and bilingual certification only
