Social Studies

ESC Region 12 social studies specialists provide current information from TEA regarding K-12 social studies programs. Making the history curriculum come alive for students of the 21st century and achieving success on the TAKS tests are two major goals. Workshops include the best-practices to incorporate strategies and skills for the teaching of the social studies TEKS in the classroom.
