Education Service Center Region 12

Education Service Center Region 12 provides professional development opportunities and technical assistance for districts and charter schools in the area of Speech Language Pathology (SLP). This assistance is provided through: Events covering a range of issues including legal requirements, evaluation, TSHA Eligibility Templates, therapy techniques, and augmentative communication. Technical assistance including both phone and on-site consultation. Guidance can be provided for evaluation and therapy for individual students or for district-wide SLP guidelines. Maintenance of an SLP Loan Library for evaluation materials. Short-term loans allow SLPs to gather additional data for making eligibility determinations through the use of instruments they may not have in their district inventory or to preview instruments they are considering for purchase.
