The program was great in that it brought in different presenters that were experts in their field. The sessions went by fast and the environment welcomed open dialogue and valuable discussions. • "I chose the Region 12 PPCP for several reasons. One being that it was here in Waco, and two, Region 12 understood the need for flexible hours for people who work. I chose it as well because of its reputation for providing high-quality instructors and choosing candidates that would enhance the graduate seminar aspect of the program. The variety in knowledge and experience of those in my cohort was as much a part of my learning as were the instructors. The opportunity to interact with current principals on curricular issues, instructional issues, and organizational issues as they related to being the instructional leader on the campus was the most valid and rewarding part of the program. In my position as Director of Curriculum for Waco ISD, I need to fully understand the role of the principal in order to support and assist them in their efforts as instructional leaders of their campuses. Region 12 provides variety and real-life experiences through their instructors, and I believe that is why I would definitely recommend it to others."
