Cost to Participants ( Fees are subject to change without notification) :

• Application Fee: $50 non refundable fee
• Program Fee: $5500 (includes selected textbooks, ILD and PDAD trainings as well as TExES preparation and review session fee)
• State testing and certification fees paid directly to their representative entities

Minimum Application Requirements:
The PPCP candidate must:

• Hold a valid Texas teaching certificate from an accredited institution
• Verify completion of 18 semester hours toward a master's degree from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Submit one official transcript from each college and/or university attended
• Submit three references from current or former supervisors
• Secure employment in a public or approved private school (employment as an administrator is not required)
• Submit a teacher service record verifying a minimum of two years teaching experience
• Submit all application documentation and application fees by program deadlines
• Participate in personal interview and complete a writing sample

Timeline for Fall Cohort 2012:

• September 1, 2012: Application Deadline
• September - December 2012: Pre-Service Training
• January - May 2013 : Complete Internship
• Upon completion of all state and program requirements, recommendation will be made for Standard Principal Certification
