PPCP is designed to improve student performance by training prospective school leaders in policies, practices, and constructs imperative to effective and successful school leadership.

Admission Requirements:

• Hold a Master's degree or higher from an approved accredited college/university
• Possess a 3.0 or higher GPA on graduate level coursework
• complete two years creditable teaching experience (by conclusion of pre-service training)
• Submit scores from the Graduate Record Exam or the Miller Analogies Test
• Pass the scored interview and writing sample

Timeline:

• November 14, 2008: Application Deadline
• January - June 2009: Pre-service Training
• June 2009: Recommendation for Probationary Principal Certification
• 2009 - 2010 School Year: Complete Internship Year
• June 2010 and upon completion of all state and program requirements: Recommendation for Standard Principal Certification

Fee Structure:

• Application fee - $50
• Program tuition - $5,500.00 (Includes $3,000.00 Pre-service training fee and $2,500.00 Internship fee, Pre-service training fee is due at orientation in January 2008)
• Certification test fee - $82.00
• Probationary Principal Certificate fee - $52.00
• Standard Principal Certificate fee - $77.00
