Create
a new page in Microsoft Word.
Save it as a web page with a name that follows the naming
conventions.
Add the text, graphics, and links desired to this page using
the instructions in the Creating Web Pages with MS Word
handout.
Save your page.
Preview your page and test your links.

Use
the following steps to create Teacher Home & Assignments
Web Pages if those has not already been provided by your
district.

Right-click on
this template link and
choose "Save Target As" (or "Download
linked file" on a Macintosh) to download the teacher
website template folder to your Desktop.

• |
Right-click on
the zipped folder on your Desktop and choose Extract
All (or just double-click on the zipped folder
on the Macintosh). |

• |
Change
the name of the unzipped folder on your
Desktop from website to your last name. |
|
• |
Right-click
on the teacher home page (default.htm) located
inside your website folder on the Desktop and choose Open
With Microsoft Word. |

Enter
all of your information on this page. |
|
• |
Choose File/Save to
save the page with the changes. |
|
• |
Repeat
these steps to edit the assignments.htm page. |

Then
add a link from your student activity page back to this
assignments page. |
