ABOUT PROJECT INTEGRATE

This site sponsored by the Education Service Center Region 12 in Waco, Texas provides resources to assist participants in the implementation of the Project Integrate program originally funded by a TARGET Grant awared by TEA in 2003.

Project Integrate is a collaborative formed to implement a model for advanced integration professional development that will change teaching practices to integrate technology focused on TARGETed student achievement needs. The objectives of Project Integrate are directly tied to the three primary goals of the Enhancing Education Through Technology Act of 2001 and the TARGET Grant RFA: 1) improve student academic achievement, 2) ensure that every student is technology-literate and 3) encourage effective integration of technology.

Killeen ISD serves as the fiscal agent for the grant now in its third year of existence. Other participating entities include: Apple Computer, Education Service Center Region 12, Baylor University - School of Education, Axtell ISD, Bruceville-Eddy ISD, Belton ISD, China Spring ISD, Clifton ISD, Connally ISD, Hallsburg ISD, Hamilton ISD, Lorena ISD, McGregor ISD, Robinson ISD, Salado ISD, Temple ISD, Waco ISD, and West ISD.
