ESC Region12 is offering a fee-based
partnership for districts and charter schools for Performance
Series (SM)
and Skills Connection ® from Scantron ®. Performance SeriesSM is a web-based computer-adaptive
diagnostic test that can be used to pinpoint proficiency
levels for students in grades 2-12 in the areas of
reading, math, life science and language arts. Skills
Connection ® enables
teachers to assess student-learning levels on a per-skills
basis by creating multiple versions of tests using
a database of thousands of questions that are aligned
to
Texas standards. Educators are also able to generate
Home Study Guides with comprehensive tutorials for
parents and teachers. A variety of reports are available
to teachers,
committees, administrators, students and parents that
examine progress or needs by individuals, groups, standards
or objectives.
Services include:
- Unlimited telephone technical support
- Two days of training delivered by ESC staff
- On-going front line support
- Skills Connection (SCOL) included at no
charge when ordering two or more subjects
