Paraprofessional staff must be highly
qualified for schools to meet the requirements in accordance
with the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001.
- Participants will broaden their skills and knowledge
of reading, writing, and mathematics instruction in
the context of effective teaching practices and classroom
management.
- Participants will demonstrate proficiency in the
ability to assist in the instruction of reading, writing,
and mathematics through a local assessment instrument,
which will also measure effective teaching practices
and classroom management techniques.
