  • House Bill 2537 Brochure

    HB 2537 came from the 85th Texas Legislative Session and outlined how school counselors are expected to inform students in foster care each year about their post-secondary options and benefits. This tool was created to help counselors meet the requirements of those conversations with students, but may also be used as a support for all students and their families for better understanding the importance of endorsements, making choices for college applications, and decisions about financial aid. Several additional online additional resources are listed in the brochure as well.
