Educator Preparation Program Complaint Policy
Our program features flexible scheduling and night classes for candidates who have full time jobs. Typically, candidates will achieve standard certification in approximately 18 months.
Phase 1 - Complete four-month Pre-service training:

EARN A MASTER’S
Earn a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Louisiana College while attending the ESC Region 12 TPCP program. Learn more >
TPCP Program fee for single certification (includes textbooks): $5,500 (or $4,995 if paid upfront)

Fees required by the State Board for Educator Certification and paid to outside agencies:
Core Subjects Early Childhood - Grade 6 (EC-6):
Transcript Requirements - 24 college semester hours in a combination of English, math, natural science, and social studies with at least 3 hours in each of the four areas.
Grades 4-8 Core Subjects:
Transcript Requirements - 30 college semester hours in a combination of English, math, natural science, and social studies with at least 15 hours in one of the four areas and 9 hours in a second area, and 3 hours in each of the two remaining areas.
Transcript Requirements - 24 college semester hours in area of specialization of which 12 semester hours must be upper-division hours (junior-senior level)
All Level Certification (EC-12):
