New Teacher Academy

The New Teacher Academy provides support and training for first, second and third year teachers as well as intervention and direction for any teacher in need. Cohorts will be formed to create like subject and grade level networks that will meet several times a year and communicate through meetings, blogs, emails, etc. Mentor interaction and training will also be an integral part of the program.

The following will be included:

  • Designated workshops at ESC Region 12
  • Intervention Specialist(s) available for observations and interventions
  • Cohorts divided into subject and grade level support
  • Mentor training and support
