Mathematics

ESC Region 12 strives to provide a TEKS-based, high-quality, on-going mathematics professional development program. The mathematics professional development program is research driven and generally follows the principles promoted in the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Standards. Professional development activities feature an active hands-on approach to problem solving, real world and cross-curricular connections to mathematics, and the appropriate use of technology in the K-12 mathematics classroom.
