SCIENCE
Science Online
Science Online conveys the visual nature of science in a clear and easy-to-comprehend manner. All content in this comprehensive database is divided into sections based on the science curriculum established by the National Science Education Standards, enabling students and researchers to access printable diagrams, definitions, biographies, and essays in a specific subject area or discipline with a single click. Thousands of hyperlinks allow users to follow a diagram to a definition and on to a related essay or biography.
 
Science Experiments On-line
Science Experiments Online is the only online product of its kind. An extensive collection of hundreds of science experiments covering a broad range of subject matter and skill levels, it offers powerful search options based on criteria such as subject area; grade range; or key terms, topics, and principles.
 
HISTORY
American Women's History
A comprehensive database, American Women's History is extensively hyperlinked and provides direct access to thousand of entries—biographies, historical and topical entries, speeches, maps, timelines, tables and charts, primary sources, and photographs—that are essential to understanding the experiences of American women throughout our nation’s history.
 
African-American History & Culture
Covering more than 500 years of African-American history, this comprehensive reference database features thousands of extensively hyperlinked and informative entries, including biographies (some with quotes), primary sources, images, timelines, and maps and charts. Web links direct users to some of the web’s best educational sites.
 
Landmark Documents in American History
Landmark Documents in American History contains approximately 1,300 important primary source documents from more than 500 years of American history. A preface to each document gives a concise explanation of the document’s importance and places the source in historical context. Hyperlinks guide users to related documents, biographies, and images that are useful supplements for reports, presentations, and other assignments.
 
American Indian History & Culture
American Indian History & Culture is an authoritative reference database that provides in-depth coverage of more than 5,000 years of culture, legends, and leaders. More than 500 Native American groups are covered in fully hyperlinked and easy-to-access entries, including primary source documents, biographies, maps and charts, images, and timelines. American Historical Images

This valuable reference covers more than 200 countries and nations, the 50 U.S. states, all 13 Canadian provinces and territories, as well as the world’s continents and major regions.
 
HEALTH
Health Reference Center
Health Reference Center is a comprehensive, authoritative encyclopedic database containing more than 20,000 hyperlinked entries on today's most pressing health and social issues. It defines the causes, cures, key research, medical terms, symptoms, and treatments and trends of each field of study and explores the social impact of numerous health-related subjects. Entries are organized by topic and type, including biographies, encyclopedia entries, glossary terms, resources and organizations, social and cultural factors, tables and statistics, and tests and procedures.
 
CAREER
Ferguson's Career Guidance Center
Comprehensive and up to date, this database profiles more than 2,000 of today's most exciting jobs in more than 90 industries. Fully searchable and extensively hyperlinked, Ferguson's Career Guidance Center contains in-depth job descriptions complete with job-specific resource listings, detailed industry descriptions, career resources, career preparation information (including scholarships, academic programs, and non-academic programs), and web resources. The database also includes a searchable archive of articles from Career Opportunities News, a newsletter covering the most recent trends and news in the job market. Users can access information through searches by industry skill, job level, education, or salary range as well as by popular government indexes such as the Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
 
FORMS
Personal & Business Forms
Organized by type of form, this resource contains reproducible forms and checklists for a wide range of personal, business, and government situations—from applying for financial aid to submitting federal and state tax forms to negotiating a rental agreement. Among the more than 14,500 current, easy-to-access forms are those needed for the top 500 government services used by the public and links to many online college application forms. All forms are updated for each tax year and can be printed and saved.
 
SPORTS
Sports Rules On File™ On-line
This exciting new database gives coaches, student athletes, and teachers fast and easy access to the rules of more than 40 popular team sports. The rules of each game and a short history of each sport are clearly explained and illustrated by numerous drawings and diagrams that demonstrate correct skills and plays.
