This multi-day training is designed specifically for new and aspiring Child Nutrition Program directors and managers and any personnel directly responsible for the Child Nutrition Program in their district. Multi-training in all areas of the Child Nutrition Program will be offered to ensure that the National School Breakfast Program (NSBP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) in participating districts are in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
Services provided
- Trainings will be offered in program accountability, menu and nutrition planning, facility layout/design and equipment selection, procurement, personnel management, financial management/record keeping, and computer technology.

- An onsite district visit will be offered to provide the food service directors and/or managers knowledge of the above key areas, and to enable districts to successfully implement and comply with all federal and state regulations.
