No Child Left Behind ~ Blue Ribbon Schools
2005

Two Region 12 schools were selected to receive the prestigious 2004 Blue Ribbon Schools (BRS) Award. Crawford and Gatesville Elementary Schools were named 2004 NCLB-Blue Ribbon Schools along with 13 other Texas schools.

• Crawford Elementary was recognized as a campus whose students, regardless of background, achieve in the top 10% on reading and math state tests. The campus contact is principal Mrs. Linda Stout.

• Gatesville Elementary was recognized as a campus with at least 40% of their students from disadvantaged backgrounds dramatically improving student performance on state tests, as determined by the state commissioner. Mrs. Pam Bone is the campus principal.
