Dr. Hancock began his career with Connally
ISD 12 years ago, serving as superintendent for the
last eight years and as a high school principal for
four years. He is also a Connally ISD Cadet graduate.
Hancock has spent 18 of his 32 years in education as
an administrator.
He is an active member of several community organizations
including the Greater Northeast Optimist Club, Lakeview
United Methodist Church, and the Lacy- Lakeview Chamber
of Commerce. He is a member of the Association of Mid-size
Schools (serving as secretary), Texas Association of
School Administrators, the Texas Safe Schools Association,
and TASB.
Dr. Hancock received his doctorate of education from
the University of North Texas and his bachelor and master’s
degrees from Baylor University. He is married to Patricia
Hancock, and they have three children.
