TWC Unemployment Information Sessions Scheduled for May 13 & 14

Education Service Center Region 12 will host several Unemployment Information Sessions presented by the Texas Workforce Commission. Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas, Central Texas and North Central Texas have partnered to organize these sessions in an effort to assist educators with reemployment services. During the event, a Texas Workforce Commission representative will be available to address questions of unemployment insurance benefits, retirement, severance, alternate health coverage, and more. The transition team is positioned to share job leads and available resources. Labor market information will also be provided, specific to the industry, and will be available to help individuals identify transferable skills needed to find suitable employment. These sessions will be recorded so that interested participants may view at their own convenience. There is no fee to attend.

TWC Unemployment Information Sessions (Choose a date below to register)

• May 13, 2011 – 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Note: Orientation sessions begin at 4, 5, 6, & 7, each on the hour.)
• May 14, 2011 – 8:00 a.m. – Noon (Note: Orientation sessions begin at 8, 9, 10, & 11, each on the hour.)
