ESC Region 12 Media Library Adds 130 New Items ESC Region 12 is pleased to announce the addition of over 130 new items to our Media Library. Select from the newest releases in content DVDs for grades K-12 in history, English, math, science, fine arts, career skills, food science, energy conservation and more! A selection of recently-published professional development DVDs are also available. All new materials will be available for checkout beginning July 1, 2010. We are also proud to introduce MP3 CDs into our circulating collection. MP3 CDs eliminate lengthy downloading of multiple CDs so students can easily enjoy audiobooks on their iPods or other MP3 players. The full-length audiobook is contained on a single MP3 CD for easy transferring to your media management system (iTunes, Window Media Player, etc) and may be transferred to as many listening devices as you would like. Imagine…a class set of the audio version of The Great Gatsby, on one CD! The ESC Region 12 collection currently contains several popular works of classic literature commonly used in English classes, such as Frankenstein, The Scarlet Letter, Macbeth, and several more!
Use of the Media Library is open to members of our Instructional Technology/Media Professional Development Co-operative. Members enjoy unlimited access to circulating materials in our Media Library (including puppets), free delivery of materials, free web access to Facts on File, and free training sessions on classroom technology integration.
