School Business Conference
WACO, TEXAS - Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 is hosting Staying out of the Doghouse, a two-day school business conference to be held May 13-14. The conference will include sessions presented by school business professionals who will address the hot issue of accountability with current state and federal laws. The session, addressing topics ranging from managing service records to financial benchmarking, also includes a legislative update on the second day. Diane Roepke, coordinator of business services for ESC Region 12, said “Increased accountability requires school business personnel to stay informed of ever-changing state and federal laws. The conference was created to provide current information in these areas for Texas school districts.”
Charla Rudd, ESC Region 12 Director of Teaching & Learning General Education, will deliver the motivational keynote. Other presenters include:
