14th Annual Region 12 Paraprofessional Celebration Scheduled for April 1, 2008

The 14th Annual Region 12 Paraprofessional Celebration conference will be held April 1, 2008 at Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12, in Waco.

This special event will give participants the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with colleagues and obtain continuing professional education credit. The Celebration will focus on topics ranging from student achievement to organizational skills. Participants will also find sessions enabling them to enhance their NCLB Highly Qualified skills.

Participants will learn how to assist teachers in improving student achievement, how to work efficiently and effectively in a school setting, and how to manage students. They will also learn how to develop and maintain relationships with students and parents, but most importantly, participants will celebrate their unique and vital role in educating ALL children.
