Assistive Technology Cluster Conference Slated for July 29-31

DALLAS, TEXAS - Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 is proud to co-sponsor the 2008 Assistive Technology Cluster Conference (ATCC). The conference will be held this year at the Region 10 Education Service Center in Dallas. ATCC has a Texas reputation as a leading source for information on innovative applications of assistive technology (AT) for persons with disabilities. The 2008 Conference builds on a tradition of providing a comprehensive examination of the most current uses of technology by persons with disabilities and the professionals who work with them. This year, AT as Support for TAKS-Alt Activities and AT in the General Curriculum/Universal Design Curriculum will be highlighted.

A variety of workshops offering TSHA CEUs and PT / OT CEUs will be available covering:

• Low Incidence Disabilities
• OT / PT
• Response to Intervention
• TAKS-ALT
• Universally Designed Learning
• Visual Impairment
