PROPOSED TEXTBOOKS AVAILABLE FOR
PUBLIC REVIEW
WACO, TEXAS--The Education Service Center (ESC)
Region 12 announces public access to materials in
the forthcoming 2007 textbook adoption cycle as designated
by Proclamation 2005 of the State Board of Education.
Local school district boards will consider the textbooks
from various vendors for approval for use in the
2008-2009 school year.
Textbooks will be available for review Monday through
Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., beginning Monday,
May 7. Textbooks for elementary math (Mathematics – Grades
K-5 and Mathematics [Spanish] – Grades K-5)
will be available for educators, parents, and citizens
to preview at ESC Region 12, located at 2101 W. Loop
340 in Waco.
