LOCAL PUBLIC INFORMATION AND INPUT MEETING
AIMED AT IMPROVING SPECIAL EDUCATION IN TEXAS
| WHAT: |
Education Service Center (ESC) Region 12 and the Texas Education Agency (TEA) are holding a free public meeting for parents, teachers, administrators, and others involved in special education, to gather input on specific topic areas related to special education in Texas. |

4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2006
Onsite registration begins at 3:30 p.m.

The meeting will center around three specific issues:
- Access to General Curriculum
- Statewide Assessments (TAKS, SDAA-II, LDAA)
- Parent Participation
This meeting is free and open to anyone interested in improving special education services for children with disabilities.
