SCHOOL BOARD TRAINING OFFERED AT REGION 12

As authorized in the Texas Education Code, §11.159, TAC §61.1 (b) (1) (D) requires that after each session of the Texas Legislature--including each regular session and called session related to education (which describes the 3rd Called Session of the 79th Texas Legislature)--each school board member shall receive an update to the Texas Education Code. A new board member who has attended an ESC Basic Orientation session that incorporates the most recent legislative changes is not required to attend an update.

ESC Region 12 will be offering several opportunities for board members to receive this training. For further information, please contact any Field Service Agent.
