NATIONALLY-KNOWN AUTHOR TO SPEAK TO
EDUCATORS FEBRUARY 7 IN WACO
WACO, TEXAS--Nationally
known author, consultant and educator Dr. H. Lynn
Erickson will address attendees during the Administrators’ Institute
for School Improvement from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday,
Feb. 7, at Education Service Center (ESC) Region
12 at 2101 W. Loop 340.
Erickson’s presentation titled, “Raising the Bar for Teaching & Learning,” will
show participants how to develop the intellect of students and increase their
motivation for learning by engaging their conceptual mind.
Erickson has been an educator for more than 30
years, serving as a teacher, principal, curriculum
director, consultant, speaker, and author. She has
written
two books
on concept-based curriculum and instruction, “Stirring the Head, Heart
and Soul: Redesigning Curriculum and Instruction,” and “Concept-Based
Curriculum and Instruction: Teaching Beyond the Facts.”
