No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is a landmark education reform law that is designed to change the culture of America's schools by closing the achievement gap, offering more flexibility, giving parents more options and teaching students based on what works. Foremost among the four key principles is an insistence on stronger accountability for results.

Education Service Center Region 12 provides information that will assist districts in complying with the accountability issues related to NCLB as well as other Federal and State program and compliance requirements. Information includes but is not limited to Highly Qualified and Adequate Yearly Progress as well as other accountability issues. Program Monitoring and Interventions and Data Integrity Monitoring are additional areas in which technical assistance, support and information are provided.
