Education Service Center Region 12 offers the X-Stop 8e6 R3000 filtering service to the districts in the region that connect to EDLINK12 for Internet access. This service is provided at no additional cost to EDLINK12 Internet Access members.

If your district plans to contract with EDLINK12 for Internet Access, and you would like to receive this service, please complete the EDLINK12 Internet Filtering Agreement and return it to Mike Nolan, Director of Technical Services, ESC Region 12, P.O. Box 23409, Waco, Texas 76702-3409.

Participating in this service will assist your district in fulfilling the first of the three following requirements outlined in the CIPA act for districts receiving federal funds:

• The use of a technology protection measure that blocks or filters Internet access
• Adoption of an Internet Safety Policy
• Convening, in some cases, at least one public meeting to prepare the Internet safety policy
